Dr. Douglas Brown, CEPA is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served as an Army officer for 27 years, both Active and Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His civilian professional experience includes management consulting for companies ranging from small to Fortune 100, information technology, strategic planning, and process optimization. Douglas is also the international best-selling author of several business-related books.
With a growing focus on value delivery, it was a natural transition to business brokerage – what better definition of value than how much someone would pay for the business? With many years in the Washington DC metropolitan area, Douglas learned a lot about how that area’s unique businesses work, as well as the “normal” Main Street businesses found in the Virginia Peninsula where he lives now.
